Sophie
The Young Viennese 2007
Very much in the tradition of the Viennese heurigen, this is a
lively and spirited young wine with slightly exotic notes, somewhat
untamed and absolutely comparable with its namesake, Sophie Wieninger,
the two-and-a-half year old daughter of the Wieninger household.

Wiener
Gemischter Satz 2007
Our fresh and fruity summer wine, easy to drink, with a pleasant
bouquet. Ideal with asparagus, summer vegetables, and lighter
Viennese cuisine. This wine is a classical Viennese Gemischter
Satz, a wine where different types of grapes are grown, gathered
and processed together. Coming with screw top.

Grüner
Veltliner leicht & trocken 2007
The Grüner Veltliner leicht & trocken (Gruner Veltliner
light and dry) is, along with the mixed blends, the traditional
ideal of Viennese wines. This wine gains its bright, aromatic
fruit, its freshness, and racy liveliness through careful pressing,
controlled fermentation in steel tanks, and sensitive maturation.

Grüner
Veltliner Herrenholz 2007
The Herrenholz vineyard always produces the best Wieninger's Grüner
Veltliner. The excellently situated vines are over 30 years old
and have a low yield; the careful selection and processing of
the grapes lend this wine its excellent quality. The Grüner
Veltliner Herrenholz will enchant you with its complex play of
aromas, its racy finesse, and its vivid fruit.

Gelber Muskateller
2007
Since 1999, we have produced Gelber Muskateller, which
was tediously hand-selected from the bouquet of grapes. Since
2003, we have invested in an additional Muskateller vineyard and
can now finally produce a larger volume of this favorite wine.
This grape is rich in tradition and grows wonderfully on the slopes
of the Bisamberg, producing a beautifully fruit-toned wine with
crisp acidity – still a small amount for sale.

Riesling
Riedencuvée 2007
Vienna’s Rieslings, a very late-maturing sort, are traditionally
found in the best locations. The Riesling Riedencuvée comes
from the vineyards Jungenberg, Wiesthalen and Gabrissen. Each
year, the cuvée from these areas is characterized by a
complex, elegant, and fruit-toned Riesling and ideally reflects
the year’s harvest and blend.

Riesling
Nussberg 2007
Since 2001, we have leased another vineyard on the Nussberg, called
Preussen, which was cultivated with old Riesling vines. Mid-November,
2003, we harvested a very strong, dense Riesling with a beautifully
fruity bouquet, characterized by terroirs. The wine is fermented
in steel tanks, thus retaining and emphasizing all of its fruitiness.

Nussberg
Alte Reben 2006
For centuries, Nussberg has been Vienna's best-known wine-growing
region and was once a synonymous for powerful wines with great
longevity. Traditionally, grapes of different sorts are cultivated
in the vineyards and harvested as blends. This tradition combined
with the modern zeitgeist led to the challenge of developing the
multifaceted wealth of aromas from this large vineyard with ist
over 40-year-old vines.

Traminer
Nussberg 2006
For two years we have cellared this special wine in a
truly “small storage” of the best quality. A powerful
wine, complex, with a mineral finish reminiscent of Alsace. Matured
to equal degrees in barriques and steel tanks, this rare, old
selection of grapes will intrigue your wine friends.

Chardonnay
Classic 2007
The location of Vienna’s Bisamberg is highly suitable for
producing Chardonnay due to the special interplay between the
calcium-rich, sandy loess and Vienna's dry, mild climate. The
Chardonnay Classic was fermented in stainless steel, 20 % in large
wooden barrels, and aged for some time on the yeast and thus vinified
in a very Viennese and fruit-toned way.

Chardonnay
Select 2006
Only the ripest grapes from the oldest vineyard in the best locations
are used for this little brother of the Chardonnay Grand Select,
which is fermented and aged in both large wooden vats and 500-liter
barrels. Through the long yeast maturation and biological aging,
the aroma complexity is enhanced and we are able to realize our
objective of melding together the international style of the wine
with the typically Austrian fruitiness.

Chardonnay
Grand Select 2004
The flagship of Wieninger’s white wines! The grapes stem
primarily from the Breiten vineyard which contains over 30-year-old
vines, which were planted by my grandfather. This quality lends
the wine its finely structured texture. Its fermentation in barriques
and 26-month maturation on the yeast bring out the rich, fine
aromas of this top selection. Bottled WITHOUT FILTRATION, this
Chardonnay Grand Select is already strikingly charming; it will,
however, become even finer in the years to come.
