In 1987, Fritz Wieninger took over the management of his parents’ vineyard and expanded it to a winery with international appeal. To be better equipped for his task, he tested out the waters at California wineries.

From mountainous East Tyrol, Lissi Wieninger came to Vienna in the 1980s, where she worked for many years as an interior designer before allowing her creative potential to flow into the winery.

Wine Manager Anna, who was born in Hungary, is our marketing & sales representative and responsible for the export business. Besides working at our winery, she is currently finishing her studies of "Internationales Weinmanagement" at the Fachhochschule Eisenstadt.

Searching for a new challenge, Katharina joined us in october 2007 after having finished her studies at the University of Vienna as well as having worked for some years in the automotive trade. At the winery, she assists us in nearly all matters.
