Harvest 2011 - The first Biodynamic-certified Wines are Harvested

After a long conversion, we've finally made it !

In 2005, I saw that our conventional vineyard work had reached a dead end. Despite the modern but conventional plant protection, the health of the grapes still was not good enough and the vines seemed to be highly prone to disease. So I decided to put 5 hectares under biodynamic management; in 2006 and 2007, the first biodynamic grapes were harvested.

 

I was so pleased with the results, that I decided in 2008 to adapt the entire wine estate to biodynamic management. With intense commitment and 100% backing from my employees, we succeeded to put this difficult step into practice professionally and, after three years of change, we've made it!
